Digital Cinema Media (DCM) the cinema advertising sales house has been in business for just over two years since being bought by the UK’s largest exhibitors ODEON and Cineworld in October 2008. A lot has happened in these two years and the company wanted to do something to highlight this. Rather than the usual piece of DM the following infographic was created which holds all the key milestones in cinema and cinema advertising.
It’s been a while since I’ve created something so indepth in Flash, and it’s given me quite a few long nights coding. The information is pulled through from an XML file, so that the information can be updated easily.
Alongside the infographic is a Tumblr blog which is used as commentary for both 2010 and 2011 cinema advertising and an email campaign powered by Mailchimp.
