I few months back a rumour appeared online that Betty White of Golden Girl fame was appearing as a dance track, I thought they were having a laugh. Then the video materialised on YouTube to confirm it was all true. Although it appears to be an advert for The Life Line Programme, the tune is avilable from iTunes for download.
The Golden Girls
Betty White is the last remaining Golden Girl, and although I haven’t seen a re-run of the show in years, the theme tune always did please me and I’m hoping iot will make an appearnace on Singstar. The track was a #25 pop hit for Andrew Gold in 1978. The show’s version is a cover sung by Cynthia Fee.
