My top STEPS moments

One For Sorrow followed the formula of ABBAs “Winner Takes It All” and hit the UK chart in August 1998 and scored their first top five single.

Loves Got a Hold of My Heart

After what felt like an eternity Loves Gotta Hold of My Heart, the second single from Steptacular hit in July 1999. Filmed in Cannes in the South of France and featured a really complicated chorus dance routine.

Tragedy

Every 90s pop act has that one single that projects them into stardom. Robbie Williams Had Angels, Atomic Kitten had Whole Again and STEPS has Tragedy.

Where STEPS have it truly nailed is this single, released in 1999, has become part of every family function that includes a disco, joining the likes of The Rocky Horror Pictures Shows The Time Warp, The Village Peoples YMCA and Tiffanys “I Think we’re alone now”.

Teamed with a dance routine that even Prince Charles joined in on and you have a true winner.
